Pyrex UK Ltd is pleased to support Xiamen Airlines following the launch of its new direct service between Xiamen and London Heathrow.
On 6 September 2026, Xiamen Airlines commenced its new service between Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport and London Heathrow Airport, marking an important addition to the airline’s international network and establishing a direct connection between Fujian Province and the United Kingdom.
Pyrex was delighted to welcome Xiamen Airlines on the arrival of its inaugural service at Heathrow and has been entrusted with providing aviation security services in support of the airline’s UK operation.
Supporting a New Operation at Heathrow
The commencement of a new airline operation requires close coordination between numerous teams and organisations across the airport environment.
For Pyrex, preparations centred on ensuring our teams were ready to support Xiamen Airlines from the outset, maintaining the professional and reliable standards expected by both the airline and the wider aviation industry.
The inaugural service represented the beginning of a new working relationship between Xiamen Airlines and Pyrex, with our colleagues supporting the operation at London Heathrow.
